Project Chaboo with MapleXO

We were asked to participate in a collaborative art project, The Chaboo Project. About 50 artists were chosen by an amazing Portland designer Ken Tomita, to customize one of Ken's designs into our own interpretations and works of art. I, of course, chose to use broken skateboards in my design, with my main goal to keep it from looking like "skateboard furniture." It turned out beautifully with many thanks to the original design of the piece, and now... we're preparing for the art opening. Make sure to stop by the Ford Building in Portland, Oregon on March 4th to see these creations up close. BUT... until then, check out MapleXO's bio on the Chaboo website!!!

MapleXO on TV!

Oregon Public Broadcasting did a special on "the Shop People." This is the shop where all the MapleXO magic happens.
Watch the video here and if you're too impatient to watch the whole thing, watch at least the last couple minutes where MapleXO is featured.

And, in other news... Erhart Streetwear just moved in to the shop people studio as well!!! We pretty much own the top floor now. Yeah Erhart!
